Bomma expands Dew Drops collection with new circular lighting design|JINHAN FAIR Design Weekly

Czech lighting brand Bomma has introduced Dew Drops Circle, the latest addition to its Dew Drops lighting family designed by Boris Klimek. The new piece transforms the poetic concept of dew droplets into a sculptural circular form designed for contemporary interiors.
Building on the original Dew Drops design, the new version arranges softly glowing glass elements in a suspended ring structure. The concept is inspired by morning dew resting on blades of grass, translating this natural phenomenon into a lighting installation that combines technical precision with a delicate aesthetic.

According to designer Boris Klimek, the Dew Drops concept was developed to capture the ephemeral beauty of nature through glass and light. "The Dew Drops Collection was created to capture the fleeting beauty of morning dew, clinging to blades of grass. We managed to transpose that magic to materialise the seemingly immaterial with lightness and grace," he said.
The Dew Drops Circle fixture is designed to function as a central lighting element in interiors such as dining areas, kitchen islands, hospitality settings or lobby spaces. Its ring-shaped configuration allows the glass droplets to appear suspended in space, creating a visual rhythm that combines sculptural form with soft ambient illumination.
Bomma offers several material and finish options for the lighting piece. The pendant droplets are available with smoke metalisation or iridescent metal coatings, combined with brushed silver or brushed black metal elements, allowing designers to tailor the fixture to different interior styles.

Like the rest of the Dew Drops collection, the new design highlights Bomma's expertise in handcrafted glass lighting, blending artisanal glassmaking traditions with contemporary lighting technology. The result is a lighting installation that balances a modern architectural presence with a poetic, nature-inspired narrative.
With Dew Drops Circle, Bomma continues to expand its portfolio of decorative lighting pieces aimed at high-end residential, hospitality and contract interiors, reinforcing the growing role of sculptural lighting as a defining element in contemporary interior design.
