The White House's 2019 Christmas decorations – in pictures

The first lady, Melania Trump, recently announced that the White House Christmas theme is ‘Spirit of America’, which she says is a nod to old American customs and traditions. More than 30,000 guests are expected to visit to see the decorations, which include architectural models of major US cities and national monuments in gingerbread.
