Breaking through the US & EU market and seizing the "New Asian Style"
On 23rd and 24th, the peak days for business talks at the 32nd Jinhan Fair for Home and Gifts ("JINHAN FAIR"), two concurrent seminars were held on the topics of expanding the US & EU market and understanding the latest design trend. Effective solutions and great design cases were presented for the purpose of helping to develop top suppliers and conquer the global market. Nearly 200 exhibitors were attracted to the seminars to communicate and interact with the guest speakers. The atmosphere reaches its top at the venue.
"Horizon USA helps you break through the US & EU market" was the lecture given by Peter Wang, Purchasing Director of Horizon Group USA. Against the existing challenges for the enterprises, such as low efficiency and single pathway in developing overseas customers, the lecture provided in-depth analysis and standards for assessment of three major areas: targeted customer research, operating capability evaluation and execution ability. With over 10 years experiences of direct China sourcing, Peter considers the self-positioning, philosophy and passion, value-added services and industrial leadership of a manufacturer, in addition to its qualification, price quality and after-sale services, are essential to establish real partnership with its buyers.
AJ Schep, senior designer and trends forecaster of 3House Production, also an old friend of JINHAN FAIR exhibitors, came to the seminar again with his lecture entitled "Trends! 2016-2017, New Asian Style is Conquering the West". He indicates that the "New Asian Style" and the "New China Style" are becoming more and more popular in home décor and have been interpreted by many studios in designs and applications. He also shares some color palettes, patterns and design works from current media and international fairs, such as a new type of Asian style which seems to merge with the nostalgic industrial style, examples of Chinese ceramics being applied in Scandinavian interiors, "Silk Road", etc.
