PBteen Partners with Kelly Slater on Home

William-Sonoma's PBteen brand has begun an exclusive collaboration with Kelly Slater, an 11-time world surfing champion, for a collection of home furnishings.

The product categories will include furniture, bedding, lighting, wall art and decorative accessories, all designed for the tween and teen markets. All of the products will be made of sustainable materials and recycled fabrics, including furniture made of wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, rugs made with recycled fabrics and bedding using 100 percent organic cotton.

The collection, which marks Slater's debut in home furnishings, will debut on pbteen.com in early April. Slater said, "In collaborating with PBteen, we are creating a subtle and natural feel with this collection--something that has an authentic appeal for teens and their parents alike."
