Napa Home & Garden debuts first holiday collections
2015.01.29
Home décor wholesaler Napa Home & Garden entered the holiday category this winter during the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, Dallas Total Home & Gift Market and Las Vegas Market.
The company introduced more than 700 holiday selections organized into six curated themes. Items included hand-blown glass ornaments, magnolia wreaths and garlands, holiday greens and tabletop décor.
“The response to Napa Holiday was tremendous,” said Jerry Cunningham, Napa CEO. “We saw a record-breaking stream of customers and had one of the busiest showrooms at market.”
The company credits the launch of its holiday line with boosting sales in Atlanta, Dallas and Las Vegas, where it says orders more than doubled compared to last January. Napa also saw increases in its core home, garden and floral business.
“Our merchandising approach was clean and organized in our showrooms, with a dramatic use of color,” said Robert Jones, Napa vice president of creative. “Holiday was layered-in with home and garden as it would be in a retail store. Our decorated trees and vignettes showed multiple products in use – and retailers really loved it.”
Jones, who joined Napa in August, also directed a redesign and expansion of the company’s Americasmart showroom, which received a “Best of Floor” Visual Display Award.
