Home News: New furniture, home décor & services

2026.01.27

Looking for new furniture, art, carpets, cutlery or maybe a lamp? Or where to live short-term while moving from one place to another, how to find the best cleaners, and everything else you could possibly need for loving your Singapore home? You can find it all on our website and in our magazine! Here’s what’s new right now, including new shops, product ranges and services for the home. We’ll be updating this on a monthly basis, so make sure you check in regularly.

Shaping Phuket’s Property Future

Thai residential resort Gardens of Eden marked its first year in Phuket by recording THB 3.2 billion (approximately S$130 million) in sales from its first two residential phases. The project, which was led by its management team and supported by partners from the lifestyle and property sectors, reflects growing demand from buyers in Singapore and beyond. Located near Bangtao Beach, Gardens of Eden was planned with a strong focus on green space, community living and access to schools, hospitals and daily amenities. Construction on both residential areas is now underway.

A New Chapter for 2026

Arete Culture has unveiled new showrooms and warehouses, inviting visitors to step into four artfully curated spaces (all on the same floor!), where they can shop exclusive and bespoke furniture pieces, and explore a wide variety of statement décor, lighting, mirrors, carpets, art and soft furnishings. The company’s Shop the Look selections and Bundle Deals are designed to create a refined and inviting home, with each item thoughtfully chosen to elevate interiors with enduring style, harmony and sophistication. The Arete team says it’s looking forward to ushering in a season of transformation, inspiration and exquisitely curated homes. Find the new spaces in the Lam Soon Building (#07-07/09/10 & 23), 63 Hillview Avenue.

Sleep Upgrade Made Simple

As we kick off 2026, shoppers continue to seek better sleep through practical bedroom upgrades. The good news is that bedding retailers across Singapore offer mattresses, bed frames, pillows and cooling bed sheets made for humid weather and different comfort needs. You can pay a visit to these stores to find support for a better rest, from space-saving beds to breathable and eco-friendly fabrics. To see our round-up of Singapore-based retailers who serve families, couples and individuals looking to improve their daily sleep quality, head here.

A Decade of Trusted Care

Helpling Singapore is a premium home services platform offering a one-stop solution for all household care needs. From professional home cleaning to specialised services like air-con maintenance, furniture care and handyman work, Helpling makes home care accessible, safe and stress-free through its easy-to-use app and website. It also supports seniors by linking families with caregivers who provide daily assistance, companionship, and recovery support after hospital stays. This year marks Helpling’s 10th anniversary, a decade of providing high-quality home care to families.

Turn It Up!

Famous for its rock ’n’ roll speakers and amps, Marshall has made waves by stepping into the world of TV audio with its first soundbars. There’s the Heston 120, a powerful soundbar built for immersive movies and music, the smaller Heston 60, and the Heston Sub 200, a bassheavy subwoofer. Designed for homes, these devices combine Marshall’s six decades of music expertise with modern technology like Dolby Atmos, DTS-X, Wi-Fi streaming and Bluetooth LE Audio. The brand’s goal is to create sound systems that treat both TV and music with equal care, while carrying Marshall’s rock-inspired design into living rooms everywhere.

Scent the Moment

Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day has arrived in Singapore, and guests were invited to be part of its special launch. The event introduced the brand’s garden-inspired products with activities that brought people together through creativity and fragrance. Guests enjoyed a three-course sitdown lunch, took part in a floral-inspired DIY workshop, and discovered the product range first-hand. Everyone left with a thoughtful gift, plus access to the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay, making the afternoon both memorable and refreshing.

Breathable Bedding

A restful sleep is all-important, so if your current bedroom fabrics feel a little stifling in the Singapore heat, replace them with soft, breathable textures. The Epitex Delores collection is made from smooth micromodal fibres, offering cool relief on warm nights. Muted pastels and earthy neutrals bring a sense of calm, while crisp pillowcases and lightweight throws add a finishing touch. With just a few easy swaps, anyone can create a breezy, restful retreat to enjoy all year long.

Homeware with History

Good news for anyone looking for an interesting piece for their home: Just Anthony has just received a new shipment of items! The team has carefully sourced and selected the new collection of antique, vintage furniture and home accessories. There’s everything from statement door panels, accent cabinets and consoles to unique carved mirrors – something special for every home.

Easy Home Makeover

One Two One is an online furniture shop in Singapore that was launched with the idea of making stylish spaces affordable and easy to achieve. It offers sofas, dining sets, beds and mattresses at fair prices, and – importantly for online shopping – with true-to-life photos. Instead of visiting showrooms, customers can browse the items online, knowing exactly what they’ll receive if they choose to buy. The company also provides free fabric swatches on request, so you can be confident in getting the right look for your home.

Keeping Cool in New Ways

SharkNinja has released two innovative new creations:

The Shark TurboBlade is a bladeless fan built for modern living, offering 360-degree cooling with twist, pivot and oscillation functions, and reaching up to 20 metres. It has ten speed settings, plus BreezeBoost and Sleep modes, for keeping spaces cool quietly and efficiently. It’s also easy to clean thanks to DustDefense technology.

Meanwhile, the Ninja SLUSHi is a frozen drink maker that transforms any beverage into an icy treat in minutes using RapidChill technology. With five preset programmes and a 2.5-litre capacity, it brings café favourites and party drinks to life.
