Tokmanni expands its store network to Kivistö in Vantaa

Tokmanni, a variety discount retail chain, has entered into an agreement to open a new store in Kivistö, Vantaa.

Tokmanni’s goal is to open a new store with a diverse product range in the growing Kivistö district of Vantaa at Mestarintie 14, 01730 Vantaa.

Construction of the store building is scheduled to begin in the early part of 2026, with Hartela as the developer. The Tokmanni store is scheduled to be opened towards the end of 2026.

The new store building will be approximately 3,500 square metres in size. A comprehensive separate garden store for seasonal products will be built alongside the Tokmanni store.

The new store in Kivistö will be Tokmanni’s sixth location in Vantaa. The current Tokmanni stores in Vantaa are located in Varisto, the Myyrmanni shopping centre in Myyrmäki, Tammisto, Tikkurila, and the shopping centre in the Porttipuisto area.

The Kivistö store will employ approximately 20 retail professionals. Recruitment of store employees in Kivistö will begin next summer.

Tokmanni Group’s network of stores continues to grow and renew

Tokmanni Group currently has 206 Tokmanni stores, 34 Click Shoes stores and two Shoe House stores across Finland. Three of the Tokmanni stores serve their customers as Tokmanni-EUROSPAR store entities. In Finland, the Group also serves its customers through its Tokmanni and Click Shoes online stores.

The Group also owns the Swedish variety discount retailer Dollarstore. Dollarstore, which is strongly expanding its store network, already has 139 Dollarstore stores in Sweden and 11 Big Dollar stores in Denmark.

Tokmanni Group has announced that it will open many new stores in Finland, Sweden and Denmark next year. Three of the new stores already announced will be opened in Finland, as in addition to Kivistö in Vantaa, Tokmanni stores will be opened in Ähtäri and Ivalo in Inari. The new store in Ähtäri is scheduled to be celebrated during next spring. In Ivalo, Tokmanni’s goal is to open the new store during next year.
