2025.09.17
POZNAN, Poland — A full slate of exhibitors, events and product discovery is on the agenda for the Drema International Trade Fair of Machines, Tools and Components for the Wood and Furniture Industries. The 2025 fair, an annual event, will take place on Sept. 9–12 at the MTP Poznań Expo fairgrounds.
Drema, described by fair officials as the largest event for the woodworking and furniture industries in Central and Eastern Europe, returns with a program about the latest technological solutions and market trends for the wood and furniture industries. This year’s program will include information on process automation, robotization, digital transformation and potential strategies to ensure production continuity in unpredictable times. Experts will present key trends and directions of change and also provide guidance on how to implement them effectively in real business conditions, officials said.
One key event at Drema is KOOPDREW (Wood Industry Congress), an international conference organized by the Polish Chamber of Commerce of the Wood Industry, dedicated to challenges and threats facing the wood sector in Poland and worldwide.
Another key event will be the Polish Furniture Congress, prepared by the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers (OIGPM), which will focus on potential development paths for the furniture sector and strategies to prepare for emerging economic changes. Additionally, the OIGPM will host a Meeting of Women of the Furniture Industry.

Training for production technologists
This year’s edition of Drema will include the second edition of the Forum of Technologists, dedicated to chief production technologists in woodworking plants and furniture factories.
“Progress in production technology is becoming increasingly dynamic,” said Andrzej Półrolniczak, Director of Drema. “Furniture can now be manufactured much faster and more efficiently, and designs that were once a challenge can be realized with ease. To stay competitive, it is essential to keep up with the latest solutions and market opportunities.
“The Forum of Technologists provides exactly this platform. Every person responsible for production processes in a furniture plant should attend,” he continued. “The Forum is not only an opportunity to gain the latest knowledge but also to exchange experiences and build cooperation in the field of innovation.”
This year’s forum lectures will focus on robotics, automation and the implementation of advanced technologies based on AI in manufacturing. The topics will be directly linked to live demonstrations within the modular Furniture Factory Live, where participants will see the latest furniture and wood product manufacturing technologies in action. Furniture produced here will be donated to charity through the Drema for Children initiative.
The Furniture Innovation Hub is a dedicated zone presenting the newest trends in design and offers visitors insights into the forms, textures, colors, fittings and materials, along with sustainable solutions shaping the future. The exhibition will include lectures and expert panels featuring design researchers, interior architects and technologists.
Drema 2025 also will feature numerous well-established program attractions. The Furniture Trend Zone showcases the latest in boards, fabrics and fittings, while the Parquet Zone highlights parquet flooring shows and workshops run by the Polish Parquet Flooring Assn. The Skills Testing Ground and live painting demonstrations organized by Lakiernictwo Przemysłowe (Industrial Painting magazine), and Drema Tools, created in cooperation with ITA Tools, showcase innovative sharpening and regeneration technologies that will be demonstrated live.
The Clean Air Zone presented by Biomasa will present modern, eco-friendly solutions and heating systems, while the traditional exhibition Conjured from Wood will highlight competition entries created from this natural material. Officials added that one of the most anticipated attractions will again be the Polish Championships in Nail Hammering, organized by Inwestor Publishing House.
