Imax expands to California

Imax's new Ontario, Calif. facility includes a distribution center and a 10,000-sq.-ft. showroom.TULSA, Okla. - Imax Worldwide Home is adding a new distribution center and showroom in Ontario, Calif., the company announced. The new 420,000-sq.-ft. distribution center is operational now and the showroom is scheduled to open in April 2014.

The expanded Imax facilities "incorporate state-of-the-art technology and an environmentally conscious approach to the business and distribution channels," according to a company press release. The new 10,000-sq.-ft. showroom will feature the entire Imax product line.

Vice President of Sales Rex Yoakley said that Imax had customers in mind when they made the decision to expand. "Our goal is to continually improve every aspect of how we serve our customers - both new and existing," he said. "Adding this new West Coast facility is one example of how we strive to provide our customers with the best showrooms, product and service possible."
