This month is Great British Furniture Month, a co-ordinated and dedicated compaign celebrating and promoting the Great British Furniture initiative and its manufacturers. Patriotic fervour will be high, and a national adversting campaign will make sure that consumers know all about British manfacturers.
Over 150 retail stores across the UK, including independent stores as well as British Home Stores and House of Fraser, are signed up to promote the campaign in-store and online.
For retailers to get involved, the requirement is that they stock product from at least five of the participating manufacturers, and thus show a commitment to supporting the Great British Furniture campaign. They have been provided with an in-store POS package, and retailers are listed in the direectory at greatbritishfurniture.co.uk - the website that has featured in all national adversting.
