Bluebell Gray To Australia

Importico has secured the rights to distribute Bluebell gray to Australia and New Zealand.

Bluebell gray is the creation of Glaswegian artist, Fiona Douglas who paints the designs for her textile then has them screen printed onto linen and cotton fabrics.

She produces a range of pillows with matching accessories.

The printing methods used by the Scottish textile design company enable every brushstroke and colour to be captured, enhancing the feel of the hand painted designs.

Bluebell gray was shortlisted for an Elle Decoration Design award at the end of 2010 and the company’s products have been featured in many leading magazines. New designs will be released throughout the year.

The design philosophy behind the brand adheres to the 'eclectic mix' school of thought, encouraging the designs to sit beside flea market finds and family heirlooms.

As Fiona says 'it's ok when things don't match, if you love it- go with it!' The designs are aimed at people looking for something unique and individual for their home, an antidote to mass production.
