New outdoor designs from The Rug Market America

Seriano is one of a dozen new outdoor rug styles introduced by The Rug Market America.

Contemporary rug manufacturer The Rug Market America is boosting its indoor/outdoor rug offerings with 12 new designs.

Each rug is constructed is of UV polyester for outdoor durability while creating artistry for the outdoor room floor surfaces and retails for $299 for a 5 by 8, according to the company. Officials said the introductions recognize the crossover dynamics within categories of home furnishings and the desire for accessories capable of performance for interiors and today’s outdoor rooms.

“Our outdoor rug collection is an important division of our overall rug offering due to the expansion we are seeing in the area of outdoor décor,” said Andrew Shabtai, vice president of The Rug Market America. “We have made a commitment to expanding within multiple areas of our product offerings to fill needs being experienced by our customers. With a blending of interior and exterior products, retailers are looking to be able to provide the total floor covering needs from one source.”

The introductions offer a variety of styles and motifs. The Seriano is a blooming multi-floral design motif in a colorway of aqua, blue and green. The Lotus in yellow and aqua provides a floral backdrop for today’s bright outdoor furnishings. Tribal Blue provides a beach blanket-like design in a simple blue and white woven look.
