The opening ceremony of the 27th Jinhan Fair for Home & Gifts was held on April 21 in Poly World Trade Center Expo, Guangzhou with an area of 80,000 square meters and nearly 700 exhibitors. It is a gala for the most representative home and gifts manufacturers from China and Southeast Asia and buyers from over 160 countries and regions.
The fair continues to function as an export trade platform to promote the linkage between the home & gifts manufacturing industry in China and the international market. Our exhibits include 6 major sections of products: home decorations, decorative furniture, seasonal decorations, outdoor & gardening series, gifts and household items. Meanwhile, ceramic and glass products from Chaozhou, Guangdong Province are exhibited in the new exhibition area (Galleria) where many buyers are attracted.
According to statistics, on the first day of the fair, the top five groups of buyers came from Germany, USA, Italy, Hong Kong and France. The number of pre-registered Euro zone buyers from France, UK and Germany increased drastically, while buyers from USA and Europe continue to drive up the majority of procurement demand. The procurement team of Hobby Lobby, the largest home decorations chain retailer from USA was the first to enter the exhibition hall on the first day. Jinhan Home& Gifts Fair has been Hobby Lobby’s first stop of procurement in China for many years.
In the year of 2013, the European debt crisis has become manageable generally and the economy of USA has been reviving slowly. However, Japanese yen and Sterling pound have been depreciated sharply. Meanwhile, the international market demand is yet to be recovered with the backdrop of a sluggish world economy. Now more and more exhibitors have reached a consensus that the new export competitive advantage of any company comes from innovation-driven development and the combination of technology, brand, quality as well as service. The export volume of the company rose by 37% in 2012 compared to 2011.”
